As the drivel continues here on Floort, mainstream media is finally getting it right as well. This article says it very clearly. Basically, we are building a nation of right-wing hick with little or no education who blindly follow a loud-mouthed, drug addict who will say anything to get ratings. THEN they make voting decisions based on this entertainer's ramblings. In other words, Rush windbag controls them and their votes. Truly, truly sad.

Our nation was created in ways that allow human potential to prosper, and it created the greatest nation for people in the history of humanity. Is there some reason you resort to taunting and insulting the other person's intelligence or basic decency, rather than simply making a counterargument? It's overcompensative.

And as for the quote that you chose to oversimplify ... obviously eliminating spending is implied (even though you habitually discredit the intelligence of tax cut advocates), as that is the only USE for taxes in the first place.

His statement is absolutely true! What is false is that liberals think the opposite or that conservatives believe otherwise. His inference that conservatives are somehow holier than thou is pathetic and we get foaming at the mouth radicals filling the streets and voting booths. I myself was a Republican until Bush. I became so disenchanted with the evil of the Rove era and the autocratic power mongers of Bush and Cheney that I settled int he middle ground. Limbaugh is a cancer that spreads hate and bigotry to small-minded people.
