?? The healthcare bill isn't a debt. There actually is a plan to pay for it, if if you don't believe it won't work. Contrast that with George Bush who went from a budget surplus to a 9.2 trillion debt with NO plans to repay it. I think you have your parties backwards. George Bush was famous for the unfunded mandates. I agree that we need to have more fiscal responsibility, but you have your parties backwards there.

Barry is taking money from some people to give it to a gov agency (healthcare) so that the "less fortunate" (read didn't want it to start with) can go to the doctor.

But seriously, all advanced societies in the world find ways to help the less fortunate. Our challenge is to regulate and stop the greedy bastards why try to take advantage of our charity. let me ask you this. If you KNEW that every dollar of your taxes was going to help someone truly less fortunate, would that be better? I know that is a utopia that doesn't exist, but what if?

i am less fortunate than al gore but he does not send me any money. neither does marc cuban or tom cruise. who decides who is less fortunate enough to deserve handouts?? all i see is me going to the bank to make loan to pay my taxes. because i am a small businesses i get to cary the lions share of the load while your elite jet setting heros who lambaste people like me get to hide thier loot off shore. wtf. get the hell out of my pocket so i can pay my people more and invest more in expanding my business which in turn creates jobs instead of me downsizing because i can not afford to pay the tab of all the "social programs".

And you are 100% wrong. Al Gore and Mark Cuban DO pay for your roads, defense and education of our young with their taxes. They pay lot more than you so they contribute more. You want to make a lot of money, pay no taxes, have the government provide for you in the way of defense and infrastructure and allow sick and poor people to degrade our society. Well said RW! If the gov wasn't in your pocket sucking taxes out of your profits, you could be hiring more people or paying more money to your employees.
