I think this is a great experiment. Americans on both sides were up in arms to do something about illegal immigration in the last election. Now that someone does something, they seem angry. Who cares, this is a small area. If it doesn't work, we won't offend too many people in the process. If it does work, it will be a model for all of American border states to follow. It may not be the perfect solution, but then clearly, the Healthcare bill isn't either. The bottom line is... at least someone is doing something!

If we REALLY need more immigrants, then loosen up legal immigration policies. But all we're importing now is poverty.
