Those pharmaceutical ads are ridiculous

Seems like the side effects are worse than the conditions they supposedly cure.

I don't like them either.

Stop taking if you commit suicide.

The one for Seroquel really gets me. They are marketing it for depression. It is an antipsychotic with nasty side effects including suicidal thoughts, coma, death... DEATH as a side effect. Pepto bisol has a side effect of black tongue. Viagra and all of those types of meds can kill with BP changes and heart problems. These things should not be on TV. Nor do I think feminine products should be advertised. Kids don't need to see it. Adults don't need to be mislead. Also, these ads drive up the cost of health care through raising pharmaceutical costs and encouraging people to visit the doctor to request meds they may not need. It's a crazy practice!
