If George W. Bush had given Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and incorrectly formatted DVD 's, when Gordon Brown had given him a thoughtful and historically significant gift, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos of his speeches, would you have thought this embarrassingly narcissistic and tacky?

If George W. Bush had been so Spanish illiterate as to refer to "Cin co de Cuatro" in front of the Mexican ambassador when it was the fourth of May (Cuatro de Mayo), and continued to flub it when he tried again, would you have winced in embarrassment?

If George W. Bush had mis-spelled the word advice would you have hammered him for it for years like Dan Quayle and potatoe as proof of what a dunce he is?

If George W. Bush had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded he's a hypocrite?

If George W. Bush had authorized a "green" car that has absolutely no protective parts to it and holds only two people, and would be totally destroyed if in a wreck... would you have thought him a total idiot after all these years of trying to make cars protective?

If George W. Bush's administration had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually get what happened on 9-11 and called him a total idiot!

If George W. Bush had been the first President to need a teleprompter installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have laughed and said this is more proof of how inept he is on his own and is really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes?

If George W. Bush had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans, would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of racism and incompetence?

If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had proposed to double the national debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had 44 czars to run the White House and national security, none of them approved by Congress, and some turned out to be income tax evaders and self avowed communists...would you have thought him a total idiot?

If George W. Bush had then proposed to double the debt again within 10 years which is already putting our grandchildren in debt, would you approve or think he was a total idiot?

If George W. Bush had taken out the missile defense system in favor of a smaller one that does not have proof it will work...would you call him an idiot?

So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive? Speak up...I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!!!!!!!!!

I think President Bush was an excellent president. Everyone was for the war when we went in because Saddam needed ousting. The only mistake he made was under estimating the guts of the bad guys. We should have sent more troops in at the beginning. He, in his first six years was true to his words - he kept America safe. The last two years, under a liberal house and senate and media pressure, Bush did disappoint me on the illegal immigrant front as well as some smaller issues. The economy is crumbling because of all the loans and credit given out by companies who were following the laws and guidelines set by Bill Clinton in the 90’s. People bought houses they could not afford. It finally caught up with those people during Bush’s watch. In 2003 he tried to initiate reform but was blocked by the Dems. 911 occurred nine months after Bush took office. Clinton had chances to do something about terrorism but did nothing. During the Clinton years, he cut our defense as well as our intelligence. We were vulnerable due to liberal cut backs and the “can’t we all just get along” attitude liberals have with everyone. It bit us on the butt. Obama has recently hired a person to take over the CIA. This person has no experience. In the hostile world we live in I am sure an attack will now be more likely to happen. The media has branded Bush as a failure and all the sheep, who look at the TV as if it was their shepherd, believe that Bush is a failure. If Obama was to walk on water the headlines would be “Obama is our savior.” If Bush was to walk on water the headlines would be “Bush Can’t swim” The left-leaning liberal media sucks! Bush was blamed for Katrina. First of all mother nature made Katrina not Bush. Government starts at the local level not at the President. History will redeem President Bush in that he is one of the few leaders who understands the larger picture. He knows what calamities await the world if it engages in appeasement and deserts an ally in order to buy an illusory peace. We will recognize what he did long after he is gone.

That's really funny A. Now go look up all of the Republican ideas that were on Republican bills under Republican President that Obama is now supporting and guess what? Republicans are suddenly against them! Just more proof that Republicans only want power and control, not what is good for the country.

O, and by the way... you keep hoping that George Bush will someday be remembered as a great President. Meanwhile, millions of Americans are reeling at the losses in their family incomes, lost family members in a useless war and the utter destruction of our financial system.
