Right. Now imagine that one of the middle-east wackos decides to do something nuclear. Anything nuclear. The eyes of the world turn to America for a response. They see Elmer Fudd standing in from of them on world-wide TV? That's why Ron Paul cannot get elected. He may have good ideas but he is not Presidential.

Martin, So you think TV Presence comes first and ideas comes in second is that it. You deserve the goverment you get. Oh by the way can someone tell me what Obamas ideas are? Or are we going to vote for him because he gives us good TV. If there is a Nuclear event in the middle east the actions that the president takes will be more important that the spin. look at the actions of Bush. More important than the speaches, huh?

There are some folks out there that do forget that we have a wonderful and timeless document that we created as a guide for the governments role. Take a look around, does the Federal government operate strictly within the confines of the Constitution? Or does it constantly stretch and tug at the words to make them fit their agenda? I believe that Government involvement in our lives really needs to be scaled back, not ramped up. They lay claim to far too much power, and their promises to give us this or that are simply excuses to take even more control over our lives.
