Nude Beaches should be Legal in the US

I've never understood why some need to be publicly nude. What's up with that?

I don't think a nude beach is immoral but it's certainly not my cup of tea.

I think it has to do with personal preference. If so done has a desire to be publicly nude, who are we to stop them? This is why it is
important to have designated areas for this. Otherwise, those who disagree with this will really be upset when they see these things in other public areas, at least those who diagree can choose to stay away from the nude beaches.

I think that many things which are typically considered objectionable but don't really hurt anyone (as in physically hurt) should be legal under certain circumstances, rather than banned completely. Nude beaches, public smoking and drug use areas, TV channels without censorship of any kind that parents can block if they don't want their kids watching them... this is what America needs!

I'm christian and in genisis Adam and eve were naked in the beginning, they were the ones ashamed and hid themselves after the apple deal, not God. I think the human body is beautiful in its natural state. What is immoral is that people, mostly men, want to connect nudity to sexuality. If guys weren't lusting after the nude it wouldn't be immoral. Now before the menfolk rise up against me, I know, chiks do it too. But you're easier to pick on!

I agree. Americans are so uptight about nudity. In Europe nudity is open and not sexual. There is even nudity on television in Europe and that's not cable!
