So far up to 5 states governors have expressed concerns about the AERRA (stimulus bills) and have suggested that they may refuse some or all funding under this bill.
This is a significant sign that the States are beginning to feel that the Federal Government is overstepping its bounds.
There are also more than 20 States that have implemented legislation reaffirming their soverignty under the 10th Amendment to the Constitution for various reasons. These signs point to a limit of tolerance for federal interferance that we haven't approached since the 1850's.
There's a certain irony to these goings on.....
