Will poverty ever end?

Some people really are poor because they have very little need. "Poor" is subjective: what some consider poor, others would consider well-off, and others would consider rich. Compare American "poor" to the poor of China. Any one of the poor Chinese would gladly change places with a "poor" American!

How do I answer this question? "Oh OK, I will agree to the statement 'Will poverty ever end?'" Give me something to give an opinion with a button push.

I believe that no, poverty will never end. There are simply too many people to donate to, and this number grows every day.

I believe that prices will continue to rise, and will maintains an individual's poverty more, forcing much work before escaping it.

I also believe that if the entire world population were to be financed with equal amounts of money, that there would be no such thing as rich. You can't be rich or poor if everybody had the same amount of money. Really, this will be impossible because if you buy something, you exchange money. You sell something, and you exchange money. And because there are approx. 6 billion people internationally (to the best of my knowledge), this gets moved around and the balance is broken very easily.

In other words, if you were sad, you are sad. If you and everyone else is sad, is that really sad? Or is that normal? Of course, that's getting into philosophical thinking...

i think that the taxes we pay should go compleatly to the people in the world that are going through poverty

The world would crumble without cash flowing to other areas of the countries' budgets.
