What Republicans Think - Part I

The United States should get out of the United Nations, and our highest national priority is enforcing U.N. resolutions against Iraq.

Jesus loves you, and shares your hatred of homosexuals and Hillary Clinton.

A president lying about an extramarital affair is an impeachable offense. A president lying to enlist support for a war in which thousands die is solid defense policy.

Government should limit itself to the powers named in the Constitution, which include banning gay marriages and censoring the Internet.

Trade with Cuba is wrong because the country is communist, but trade with China and Vietnam is vital to a spirit of international harmony.

Here is my favorite... Global warming and tobacco's link to cancer are junk science, but creationism should be taught in schools.

Lying about an extramarital affair was not the impeachable offense. Lying UNDER OATH is a different matter, no matter what the subject is, especially when you are supposed to be President of the United States. We've seen the results of these actions. Lying is now accepted and expected in daily life. Kids have a different attitude about right and wrong. Trade with Cuba is wrong because the leader of that country tried to set up a way for other countries to launch a nuclear attack on the US. China is working to find a democratic way of life and should be encouraged to continue that effort. Viet Nam is headed in the same direction. Freedom and democracy should be encouraged. The denial of basic freedom should be discouraged by all free people.
