George W. Bush is the worst president ever
Can you even imagine anyone having more scandal, more ineptness, more incompetence, more lies and more cover-up? I know politics in the US is a little messed up right now, but this is really off the deep end.

I guess that most who agree to this wern't around seven years ago. The only "scandal" that i've seen was that Scooter Libby wasn't real sure about an off the cuff remark made to a reporter. That's the problem with the country today. Selective memory saves you from admitting that you've made and error. We can elect Obama and get another Jimmy Carter and suffer the same consequences as we did in the 80's. Only this time the terrorists have proven that they CAN reach us. Don't forget to duck!

Most people approved of Clinton.
Most do not approve of Bush.
Does the majority not matter anymore?

Wire tapping? Scooter libby? Guantanamo bay? the Iraq War? never catching Osama? Deleting records of presidential emails? Ruining our reputation with the rest of the world? Disregarding the Kyoto Protocol or doing anything to reverse the effects of global warming? Doing nothing to reduce our dependence on oil? Stealing the election in the first place? Yah I'm pretty sick of him too.

Well Billyboy,
I do blame the members of congress that voted for the war, but i also blame Bush for asking them to approve it. Now we have different members of congress and not everyone in the previous congress voted for the war. And the current congress has been trying to stop the war for months, but this president keeps vetoing their efforts. And of course Saddam Hussein committed crimes, but did we help any of the African countries that have their governments literally committing genocide? I can assure that while Saddam's crimes were atrocious, the crimes that have been taking place in Africa are at least equally terrible if not worse. Why didn't we invade there? Well, Mr. Bush said that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and was thus a more imminent threat. That was a lie. So now his reason is that we need to help these people. If that is true, why didn't he agree to develop a decent battle strategy and well-thought out plan first? Why didn't he want to avoid casualties as best possible? He had waited months after being inaugurated to invade, so why did it suddenly become necessary to invade immediately? Because he didn't care. He wanted to trick the US while everyone was still angry over the Sept 11 attacks (even though Iraq had no connection to Al-Qaeda). He didn't care if the members of the UN agreed to help or not. He doesn't care about any of the troops' lives. The members of congress at the time are at fault, but so is Mr. Bush.

Speaking as an Irish person watching from the outside, it is astonishing the devastating effect that man has had on your credibility and general standing throughout the world. I'm almost sick of trying to explain to people that the American public are by no means behind this inept and incompetent fool. (It's ok guys, all is well, I got your backs).

So Scottler your argument against the war is that because we can't invade every country in the world that has a government that is killing innocent people that we shouldn't invade iraq!? I guess if you can't fix it all don't even try right? And if you don't think they were a threat then I guess you weren't related to anybody that died on 9/11. It's not about Al Qaeda, it's about radical muslims that think that if they die while trying to kill innocent american citizens that they'll go to heaven and get 40 virgins....

How do you define worst president? Or do you really mean the most unpopular of modern times? Go read through presidential history...I think you'll find some other strong contenders for "worst president".

You know, the main issue everybody is complaining about here is the war on terrorism. Unless everyone here has amnesia, you should recall that almost all of congress and most of the American public was behind Bush when he called for military action. He warned the public that it wouldn't be an easy victory and that it very well could be a long and drawn out process. Both congress and the public, in general, were still behind him. He was right about it taking a long time. Unfortunately the American public had mass amnesia and forget what he said and congress was reelected. Now everybody blames him when, if the American public had said "NO!" when he warned it could be a long process, we wouldn't be in this mess anyway. Also, one must keep in perspective the media. The media reports on the atrocities and the mistakes, these stick in our minds and are associated with the bush administration. What we don't here of are the successes. Yes I do understand that we were wrong about Iraq; but Hitler didn't have WMD's either. Hussein was a brutal dictator or a nation that lived in fear of him 24/7. If you lived there, wouldn't you want help?

people should vote so they have someone competent to make choices on what's best for their nation. the us president shouldn't have to ask every time something comes up just so he can stay popular.

Why the hell Iraq Billy? We have more people dying of Malaria and Hunger EVERY DAY than the total amount of people who died from the terrorist attacks (which by the way, had nothing to do with Iraq). Those things are completely preventable and no one has to die to stop them. If Bush really wanted to 'save' the people in Iraq, why the hell would he go in so quickly and without a plan? Why not devise a good plan so that so many people wouldn't have to die? Why wouldn't he wait for at least a few more countries to agree to go so that there would be a minimum amount of casualties? It doesn't make sense.

Of course we should help people, but what we're doing in Iraq is not how we do it! We're only making it worse. And don't forget that our country still has people suffering too!

He is in office 8 years instead of 4 because the American people believed the lies spread by his cronies. How else could you believe that a purple star veteran is less American than a draft dodger who still can't account for one year of his National Guard service?

You dont know that for a fact because you weren't alive to feel how it would be with every president and the congress votes or vetos if we are going to war.
