Republican Toast?

Do Romney, Guilliani, Thompson or others have any chance? They seem to be floundering in the eyes of the American public. If this keeps up, the Democrats will win in a landslide.

The Republicans will not go down without a fight. Remember that George W. Bush was elected not once, but twice! While they do seem to lack a strong central base, and the party could be considered fractured at best, they will rally and come at the Dems full force until the final whistle (or Supreme Court session).

I agree, but not without some trepidation...the GOP may not have a clue about how to run the country, but they sure as heck know something about winning elections (by any means necessary).
