I do not believe everything that any president has ever told me, but I sure do believe in standing up for our country! Saying just because malaria kills that many people everyday is enough of a reason to sit back and watch our country be attacked is a very stupid statement...

Watch our country be attacked? Are you possibly referring to the attacks during 9/11? Do you realize those attacks were never connected to Iraq? I never said anything about not finding Osama. I think the SOB should be found and killed. I'm criticizing the war in Iraq and saying that all of that money and energy could have been spent to actually HELP people in desperate need.

Well i'm sorry you thought that i was trying to connect iraq to 9/11. Let me explain what i was trying to do: I was trying to give people a sense of the devastation hunger and malaria cause everyday. I am NOT trying to say stop the fight in afghanistan. I am NOT saying to stop hunting Bin Laden because those are things we have to do. I am saying that the idea of us 'freeing' and 'helping' the people in Iraq is ridiculous. If the government really wanted to help people in the world then it would give people food and help fight malaria. There's no reason for us to be in Iraq and anyone who says we're there on a philanthropic mission is ignorant.

The title compares the daily death rate of malaria and world hunger to 9/11 and then the paragraph throws in Iraq which has nothing to do with the title, which brings me back to my original statement, that this is a very poorly written floort!

I actually like the floort. I think Scottlers' point is that the war is costing us a truckload of money. Dont get me wrong I was as horrified as anyone else on 9/11 and I am sure so was Scottler. The point is that 9/11 should not have triggered a war with Irak.

AND CTS'S POINT IS THAT 9/11 DIDN'T TRIGGER IRAQ!!!! They aren't related!!!! We invaded Iraq for many reasons, but 9/11 wasn't one of them! The only way you could connect them was that it was a group of terrorist that were responsible for Iraq and one of the reasons we invaded Iraq was for harboring terrorist. We never said we were invading Iraq because of 9/11! I don't know where you two geniuses picked that up from......
